Ok you obviously know my feeling on this, and I've said my peace, but one thing I haven't commented on. Several of the "protests" I read where based on the idea of, how dare he talk to our kids without us knowing exactly what he is going to say and us not being there.

So...are you there when you send your kid to school every day? Are you there when you kid is in some church class being taught? Have you ever let your kid watch tv by themselves? Talk to a friend? Go outside of your house? I mean its the PRESIDENT! Its not like they invited the creepy guy who drives the ice cream van in to talk to your kids.

Still don't get it. I mean I'm not sure if there were many people who disliked W more than me, but I would never have thought to protest having my kid hear him speak to them about education. I guess that is there right as part of the choices we are blessed with, I just don't get it. Still.

Speaking of education; Who the hell spells country, "coutntry?" A better question is who the hell spells it that way and then leaves it there, right in the title? I'll tell ya who; I do!

I noticed haha. Just a typo no biggie. This is one issue where I will take a very partisan stand. There is nothing wrong with his speech! What is wrong with the people around here. My mom was furious about the Nebo School District not showing the speech. I am too. It is proof positive that people are giving in to fear and propaganda. I really hate to see that.

Btw, my mom is as conservative as they come. Also, I didn't find a single subversive socialistic message in that speech, and believe me I was looking. The irony is that the american education system has been socialistic long before Obama and the current dems came along. The students who didn't hear this speech really missed something special. What a great message.
