Much better than the first. Obama----------more substance this time-------still gives off an "I can be calm under all circumstances" vibe. People like that. McCain-------giving off the "I know my ship is sinking so I'm using desperate measures--jab, jab, jab," vibe. Even his own base is lost. Really McCain? You want to add another $300 billion to the bailout? The bailout that most people are pissed off about? Really? Really?!?! McCain camp's new punchline: "That one." You'll have to watch the debate on a rerun or just tune into MSNBC, CNN, or Faux News channels tomorrow.
Score: Obama 2 McCain 0
It's certainly not over yet. As I've echoed before, "Never underestimate a democrats ability to lose an election."
In case you didn't know, the third and final presidential debate will be next Wednesday night at 7 on all your major news networks.

I was a little irritated by the debate last night. I'm a very decided voter, so I don't watch them to help me make a decision, more to validate my decision. I don't know if it was the format that I didn't like, I kind of think I would support having some buzzer go off when their time is over, or the mic cuts out. I just felt like there wasn't a lot of discussion of the real issues, more attacking and then defending of things that have been said a million times already. I've heard Obama say what his tax plan is, I have also heard McCain say something exactly opposite, over and over again. I get it, move on to something else. I did fall asleep in the second half, not much sleep the night before, so maybe it got better and I missed it. I just kind of felt bad for the people that ask a question, and then have most of the time taken up by them talking about something else. I felt like McCain was doing a little more attacking then talking about his own policy, but I know I'm biased, so maybe others saw it differently.
I think the best part about the debates is waiting for the SNL skit about it :)
The SNL Election Update show was definitely funny tonight. It's so funny because it's so close to actuality. (McCain pacing around in front of the camera during Obama's question and answer period). So funny.
Dude, want to start focusing on something we might actually have a chance at? NBA is right aroud the corner. I have a fantasy league with a payout and a buy in. Want in or not? It is $50 to get in and the payout is around $500. I am not going to get into politics with you.
You'll be a daddy soon! Good on you!
Send me a text if you want in you little political monster!
Ry
Hey Ryan,
I'll probably pass on the fantasy NBA thing, as I've never played before and I know FAR LESS about NBA players than would serve me at all in a $50 bet. Thanks for thinking of me though. (I do better in $20 Texas Hold'em games). Anyway, when are you guys going to come out and see us? I'm pretty sure our house isn't as nice as yours but, come on, the least you could do is come out and see us.
